Carla, our founder and master artist, has over 12 years of experience specializing in cosmetic tattooing and advanced color theory. Every Sculpted Studio Artist has a minimum of 6 years of professional experience, ensuring that your treatment is performed with expert precision and care.

Experience matters because cosmetic tattooing is not a regulated industry. While artists must hold a tattoo license from the health department, this license only confirms compliance with basic health and safety standards—not skill, artistry, or technical ability.

Unfortunately, anyone with a tattoo machine and a license can offer these services, regardless of their level of training or understanding of color, anatomy, or healing. Lower-priced services often reflect a lack of experience, which can lead to unpredictable or unsafe results.

Yes. Sculpted Studios and all of our artists are fully licensed and insured in every state we operate.

Each artist holds a valid Body Art Tattoo License through the local Department of Health, ensuring full compliance with sanitation, sterilization, and facility safety standards. We also carry professional liability insurance, protecting both our clients and our team.

It’s important to understand that licensing does not measure skill or artistic ability—it only confirms that an artist meets the state’s basic health and safety requirements.

At Sculpted, we go far beyond that. Our artists continually complete extensive continuing education and advanced training, where they master color theory, technique, and healing science as the industry is ever evolving, to ensure every client receives safe, precise, and beautiful results.

Lip Blush/Lipstick and Ombre styles are typically best suited for clients with naturally even pink/peach toned lips.  

Clients with naturally darker or multi-tonal list are typically best suited for lip neutralization/brightening.

There is some room for exceptions and those can be discussed during your appointment.

Appointment times vary by client but generally range from 2-3 hours.

Depending on your needs you may need more than 1 session, the average is 2 within 4 months.  Once completed treatments can last for many years. 

Once completed typically last 2-5 years, depending on your skin type, chosen style and lifestyle.

A thorough color analysis is done at the time of your appointment to assess your natural undertones.

Absolutely! Our treatments are designed to blend seamlessly with your natural features, giving you a refreshed and polished look.

Yes. Must allow 4 weeks in between lip injections and Permanent Makeup due to healing. If the filler is migrated we will recommend to get the filler disolved before having Permanent Makeup.

PMU can slightly flirt with the boarders of your lips to tweak symmetry but we cannot work over the vermilion boarder or skin tissue as you will have problems once healed  If you like the liner look – we suggest the ombre style, different way to achieve a similar liner  or liner & lip combo look with our the risk.

Yes, we use only the highest quality pigments that adhere to the strictest global regulations for cosmetic treatments. If you have any concerns, let us know during your consultation so we can address them.

We have several types of numbing for this reason.  We have also done every treatment we offer with out at clients request and they are still completely comfortable. 

A numbing agent is applied to minimize discomfort, and most clients report only mild scratching or tingling when getting this service with or without numbing. Experience, we have a lot of that,  and proper adherence to pre care provided has a big impact on client comfort. 

There’s minimal downtime with our treatments, but some temporary swelling is normal and usually fades within a day or so.

Your tattoo will appear more vibrant and bold at first, this is expected! Around day 3–5, light flaking may occur as excess pigment naturally sheds. Don’t worry, the true color will begin to soften and reveal itself beautifully over the next 8–16 weeks.

We’ll provide full aftercare instructions, both written and explained verbally, to make sure you feel confident caring for your treatment as it heals.

You can eat or dink immediately after. You will need to be mindful and eat small bites with a fork and drink with a straw for the first 3-5 days.  We recommend you avoid spicy and high citrus foods during that time as well. 

Yes.  You will need to be mindful an avoid getting it on your lips.  We also recommend that you avoid whiting toothpaste for the 3-5 days immediately after your treatment.
